We begin with a short orientation drive of the City Bowl & immediate surrounds, highlighting the attractions on route, featuring Camp’s Bay, Clifton, Seapoint, Greenpoint, The V&A Waterfront, Long Str, Kloof Str, Kloof Nek Str and Signal Hill.
After your orientation drive, we take you on a journey, walking through the city centre with our specialist guide to illustrate and explain to you, the past and how it has carved the present, featuring all significant historical points on route.
We visit our favourite traditional African restaurant for lunch, where you’ll be able to experience a vast array of African cuisine, ranging from familiar foods prepared African style, to the more curious and unusual, such as crocodile tail!
Take a colourful walk through the City Bowl & Bo-Kaap, with another of our specialist guides to explain the wealth of cultural history in these areas, how they’ve shaped today and how the inhabitants, make up the very fabric of present-day Cape Town.
For the Grand Finale of the day, we take you to the base of the incredible Table Mountain. Here, one takes an Aerial cable way to the summit of Table Mountain, for exquisite views of the city, ocean and natural beauty below. The cableway is weather dependent and if not possible due to conditions then a visit to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens will replace this section of the tour.
